Our client in Latrobe PA is seeking a CNC Repair Tech to join the team

Duties:

*Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines and related production equipment.
*Diagnose and repair motors, drives, motion control systems, and basic PLC-controlled equipment.
*Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance and uptime.
*Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and machine documentation.
*Support CNC retrofits, machine upgrades, and new equipment installations and start-ups.
*Perform welding, fabrication, machining, rigging, and tooling support as required for equipment repairs.
*Analyze equipment downtime and conduct root cause failure analysis; implement corrective actions.
*Maintain accurate maintenance logs, checklists, and inventory records.
*Coordinate with and monitor outside vendors for specialized machinery repairs or services.
*Communicate equipment needs, parts requirements, and purchase requests to management or procurement.
*Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to machine reliability and performance.
*Follow and help develop safe work procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and EHS requirements.
*Operate forklifts and material handling equipment as needed.

Requirements:

*Proven experience in CNC or industrial machinery maintenance.
*Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills.
*Hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
*Working knowledge of motors, drives, and motion control systems.
*Basic knowledge of PLC controls and industrial automation.
*Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
*Familiarity with preventative and predictive maintenance technologies.
*Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
*Effective verbal and written communication skills.
*Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and repetitive motion.
*Commitment to safety, quality, and 6S standards.
