Job Description

Labcorp seeks an anatomy pathology intern for an 11-week summer position in Seattle. The role involves shadowing laboratory professionals, assisting with specimen handling and non-testing tasks, and participating in supervised demonstrations and approved projects within a diagnostic laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Shadow laboratory professionals to learn diagnostic workflows and department operations
• Assist with specimen organization, inventory management, and workspace preparation
• Participate in supervised mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques
• Support approved laboratory projects and maintain safety compliance standards

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Chemical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology Bachelor's program
• Interest in laboratory science and diagnostics industry
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following laboratory procedures
• Ability to work independently under general supervision with initiative
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professionalism including punctuality and appropriate workplace conduct

Compensation: $17.75-$22/hr
